The quarter of Vomero has grown up during the 19th century , it is one of the most vivacious quarter of the city, rich in shops and local of every kind. The Villa Floridiana is a very fascinating and luxuriant city Park ,where the National Museum of Duke of Martina houses. On the top of the hill ,from where the sensational landscape of the city can be admired, there are The famous Castle of Sant’ Elmo, and the Charterhouse of San Martino. The high zone includes also the area of Camaldoli, where the Monastery of the Camaldoli ,built in 1585 , does still exist. From the Camaldoli it is easily possible to reach Capodimonte, where the Royal Palace merits to be visited .In the Royal Palace houses the National Museum of Capodimonte.
